Skylanders Birthday Party

This year my six-year old wanted a Skylanders birthday party. We had a great time planning it together, from food to games.

The menu consisted of had Wooly Sheep rice crisps, Crazy Noodle Noodles, Hex potion, Chill Cold Cuts, Wrecking Ball Melon Balls in Coconut Milk, Hot Dog Sausages, Terrafin Jelly, Crusher Rocky Road, Legendary Chop Chop Satay, all gluten, dairy, egg, and nut free.

The cake was of course a Portal Power cake with some new Skylanders on it. The birthday boy was very surprised to see Eye Brawl and Terrafin, which he had been asking for. Also on display was the Chaos castle, which was a previous Christmas present that he had finished days before the party.

The kids got a badge with Skylander picture.

The colour theme was blue and gold, chosen by the birthday boy. My sister-in-law made the Spyro pinata out of baloon and paper mache.

For the games we had Flame Slinger Arrow Shoot, Trigger Happy Shoot Out (the kids had to shoot some paper enemies with Nerf Gun), Gill Grunt Balloon Spray (the kids had to throw water filled balloons into a bucket, which resulted in a few wet mums), Tree Rex Musical Statue, Bash Balloon Stomper (the kids had to break a balloon), and Terrafin Pass the Parcel.

Each kid received a Skylander Elements lollies (these are lollies in hand made plastic box - took very long to make each box). The girls also received necklaces and the boys received Skylander tops toys.

The kids had so much fun (and was fully tired) by the end of the party.
